Mearsk
These paintings cover a short period where the rov was assisting drilling operations, in the North Sea for a Norwegian company PGS. and using a Sub Atlantic "Tiger" eyeball ROV. The rov was deployed from rthe main deck of a large jack up called Mearsk Giant. Following the drill bit and guiding the driller in deploying the drill string, was the rov,s principal job. The Norwegian company commission a number of paintings and used smaller images from them for Christmas cards.
