Maureen
This series of paintings and drawings follow a period in the preperation of the redundant Maureen platform, for the refloat and tow back to Norway. This represents yet another spectacular feet of engineering, typical of work in the North Sea. From the base on the sea bed to the topmost part of the structure it is twice the hieght of St. Paul's Cathedrel, and weighs 110,00 Tonns, it was successfully refloated and taken to Norway in 2002.
