Marinspect 
This selection of paintings and drawings show a more tediouse side to ROV operations. Here the ROV. a Sub Atlantic "Cherokee" has a frame mounted in front with a number of sensors attached, this enables the rov to follow and record the presence of invisible buried cable. The contractor was Marinspect, and the German telephone cable ran from off the coast of Denmark right down to the coast of Germany. A pulse was sent down the buried cable that the sensors in front of the vehicle were able to pick up and follow.
